THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Please complete the application form and return it to our office as soon as possible, and be sure to include the following documents:

Your R350.00 administration fee |

Proof that your school is registered with your local Provincial Education Department – or is in the process of becoming registered |

ACSI’s signed Statement of Faith and signed Code of Ethics |
| • |
Your school’s Vision and Mission statement together with the school’s constitution, and 2008 schedule of school fees |
| • |
A copy of the Health and Safety certificate from your local council |
| • |
Proof of Section 21 Company, Tax exemption certificate, Proof of registration as a PBO, NPO Certificate |
| • |
A list of your educators with their South African Council of Educators (SACE) numbers. |
| • |
The learner figures that you submit should be the same as the 10th day statistics as required by your Provincial Education Department. Your levy calculations will be based on these numbers. |
THE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
Once the Regional Office in Edenvale, Johannesburg, has received your application, with all the required, completed documents attached, the following will take place:

A visit to the school by staff from the Edenvale Office or from the ACSI Co-ordinator in your province |
| 2. |
ACSI will check all documentation for completeness and accuracy and issue a report. Once all the documentation is in place and all formalities have been successfully concluded the school will be formally accepted as an ACSI member school. |
| 3. |
The ACSI membership certificate will be issued bi-annually or once the full year’s fees have been paid. |
| 4. |
The ACSI South Africa number will be issued in due course to allow schools to receive member school benefits. |
