SACE is the professional council for educators, that aims to enhance the status of the teaching profession through appropriate Registration, management of Professional Development and inculcation of a Code of Ethics for all educators. ACSI is a registered SACE provider: Provider Number 11947 First-time educators are still encouraged to apply online at www.eservices.gov.za Note: No walk-in applications. All first-time applications must be done online.
The Department of Basic Education was formed when the former National Department of Education was split into two: Department of Basic Education and the Department of Higher Education and Training. The DBE deals with all schools from Grade R to Grade 12, including adult literacy programmes. The aim of the DBE is to develop, maintain and support a South African school education system for the 21st century.

Staffroom, d6+ Management System and EDUPAC are third party school data management service providers that allow the school data to be extracted and represented on the Dashboard. The Valistractor tool validates and extracts data before it is displayed on the Dashboard.
The SETA is mandated to promote and facilitate the delivery of education, training and development in order to enhance the skills profile of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) sector and contribute to the creation of employment opportunities especially for those previously disadvantaged. Out of the 21 SETAs, the ETDP SETA is one of 18 SETAs that have been re-established with no changes for the period 01 April 2020 – 31 March 2030 (Certificate no. 07 /ETDPSETA/1 /04/20) by the Minister of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Dr Blade Nzimande.
FEDSAS is the national representative organisation for governing bodies that informs, organises, mobilises, and develops its members to achieve and uphold the highest recognised international educational standards. FEDSAS focuses on the development of capable school governing bodies of all schools. FEDSAS is the leader in school governance and school management. The organisation was established in 1993 and over the past nearly three decades has grown into one of the most respected role-players in South African education.

• Improved economic efficiency and productivity
• Employment creation
• Sound labour relations
• Eliminating inequality and discrimination in the workplace
• Alleviating poverty in employment
Management and oversight over social security, encompassing social assistance and social insurance policies that aim to prevent and alleviate poverty in the event of life cycle risks such as loss of income due to unemployment, disability, old age or death occurring.
