Job Summary/Key Duties:
Teaching English and Afrikaans from Grade 8 to 10.
Be able to coach extra-curricular activities
Qualifications/Requirements:
Requirements for this position include:
•Possession of a suitable teaching qualification in Afrikaans and English.
•SACE Registered and Police clearance certificate are non-negotiables.
•Fully Bi-lingual – in BOTH Afrikaans and English – is an essential requirement.
•Additional responsibilities will be discussed during the interview.
•Dynamic personality with a growth mind-set; commitment to embracing and sharing new ideas and pedagogies
•Passionate about teaching and learning.
•Relentless in the use of practical work and experiential activities to facilitate learning
•Prepared to be part of a team that is constantly evolving through self-reflection, feedback and instructional coaching
•Innovative and willing to develop own teaching skills
•An ability to coach extra – curricular activities would be an advantage
•Be willing to adhere to and participate in the Christian Ethos of the school
