Intermediate Phase Educator

Job Summary/Key Duties:

Job expectations include nurturing young learners’ academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth in a Christian environment. The teacher plans and delivers engaging, age-appropriate lessons, creates a caring and well-managed classroom, assesses learners’ progress, and works with colleagues and families to support each child’s development.
The teacher also helps learners build Christian values, character and a love of learning, encouraging them to discover and develop their God-given potential. They contribute to extra-mural and sporting programmes when required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A suitable teaching qualification.
• SACE registration.
• Experience teaching in the Intermediate Phase.
• Fluency in English.
• A passion for nurturing young learners in a faith-centred environment, Christian education and character formation.
• Patience, creativity and strong communication skills.
• A teachable, collaborative approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• A police clearance certificate.
• A valid PDP is an advantage.
• Experience in Life Skills & Creative Arts will be an advantage.
• Willingness to contribute meaningfully to extra-mural activities.
