Job Summary/Key Duties:

Champions Combined Academy invites applications from dedicated, passionate and suitably qualified Intermediate Phase Educators to join our team for the 2027 academic year.
We are seeking a committed Christian educator who is passionate about academic excellence, learner development and preparing learners for the next stage of their educational journey.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

• A recognised professional teaching qualification appropriate for the Intermediate Phase.
• Current SACE registration.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• A sound understanding of curriculum implementation, assessment and learner support.
• The ability to teach the relevant Intermediate Phase subjects in accordance with the school’s curriculum requirements.
• Strong classroom management, organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to motivate learners and maintain high academic standards.
• A committed Christian with strong Christian beliefs who is willing to uphold and promote the school’s Christian ethos.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons for learners in Grades 4–6.
• Implement the relevant curriculum and assess learner progress.
• Support learners in developing strong academic skills, independent learning habits and critical thinking.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor learner performance and provide appropriate academic support.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, mark schedules and learner reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents.

Promote Christian values, good character and the holistic development of learners
