Anke de Beer

Dr Anke de Beer is a respected speaker, researcher, consultant, and author on the pressing issues of technology and its devastating effects on mankind. She uses her extensive academic knowledge and experience in the counselling room to make people aware of the dangers of technology and she guides them in the use of digital media. She has worked with school organisations, churches, and law enforcement. Dr de Beer has completed a second PhD in Interdisciplinary studies and was appointed as Associate Professor of Christian Counselling in 2024. She runs a private counselling practice, and she counsels parents, leaders, pastors, teachers, and young people countrywide while continuing her research and writing. The topic of digital addiction is her passion and the focus of her research and ministry.
