Earth Day Showcase
Eggi Triyadi | Earth Day Campaign Specialist
As we approach April and the 55th anniversary of Earth Day, we wanted to let educators know about an opportunity we are truly excited about, namely the Earth Day Showcase on April 22, 2025. It’s part of our effort to bring educators together from around the world to inspire climate action and climate education.
The Earth Day Showcase is more than just an event. It’s a chance for learners to share their projects and ideas with a global audience, learn from one another, and feel like part of a community working toward a sustainable future (Submit your project here).
To support educators, we’ve also created fact sheets that you can use as resources in your classrooms:
- Plastics: Understanding plastic pollution and how we can tackle it together.
- Renewable Energy: Exploring clean energy solutions to combat climate change.
- Fast Fashion: Raising awareness about the environmental and social impact of the fashion industry.
- Food Prints: Highlighting how our food choices affect the planet and what we can do to make a difference.
We hope that these materials will help to spark meaningful conversations and inspire your learners to take action. It would mean so much to us if your school could join this global effort. By registering here, your school will be featured on the Earth Day map of Earth Day participants, and you’ll gain access to even more resources and support to bring Earth Day to life in your classroom.
If you have any questions or want to talk about how we can support your efforts, please don’t hesitate to reach out triyadi@earthday.org . We would love to hear about the amazing work you’re doing and how we can collaborate. Thank you for everything you do to inspire and empower the next generation.
