Silverstream School April 2023

Silverstream School is part of Rehoboth Children’s Village, KZN, South Africa. Our school caters for children aged 3-4 and 4-5 years at our Pre-school, 5-6 years (Grade R), and Grades 1-7, along with a Special needs class, our Gapstars.

There is a Baby group, 0-3 years, where the kids learn through play from an early age.

Rehoboth Children’s Village serves the community of Ugu District Municipality and because Silverstream School is linked to Rehoboth and on site, we as teachers have the privilege to teach the children of Rehoboth.

Since Silverstream was founded in 2014, many children of Rehoboth have been accommodated at the school.

Each teacher at Silverstream School plays an absolutely vital role in each child’s life and development as many children who come to Rehoboth have not reached the expected milestones, which affects their development.

We are very proud of our former students who are achieving great accomplishments in high school and tertiary education. We believe the depth of their character and spirituality will let their light shine in the big world outside Rehoboth.

We believe and pray that learners who left Silverstream to attend high school or who have been reunified with extended family, will always remember what they were taught and that they will also keep their lights shining bright in their communities.

We would not be able to share this information about our wonderful school and this fantastic organisation, Rehoboth, if it was not for GOD’S GRACE, MERCY AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!! God is making it possible for our school, teachers, learners, and the staff of Rehoboth to be able to LET OUR LIGHT SHINE BRIGHTLY!!
